Dr. Francisco Flores, M.D. |
Francisco Flores, M.D. is a college graduate of Georgetown University. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami’s School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency training at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery including an additional 2 year fellowship in dermatology research. To date, he remains the only graduate honored with both the Dermatology Clinical Excellence and Dermatologic Surgery Excellence Award during residency. He is board certified in dermatology and a current diplomat of the American Board of patients. He also specializes in a wide range of cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, tissue augmentation with Restylane®, follicular unit hair transplantation, as well as laser procedures for scar, hair removal, brown spots, and vascular lesions. He is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He has published articles and textbook chapters on the treatment of various skin conditions. He has been recognized for his teaching of medical students and dermatology residents at the University of Miami where he holds an appointment as Voluntary Clinical Professor.
